Earlier today Page convened a member conversation about the ongoing social unrest stemming from the murder of George Floyd, the latest in drumbeat of race-based injustices in the U.S. that dates back hundreds of years. The call, led by Page Chair Charlene Wheeless and Page President Roger Bolton, included 100 Page and Page Up members and their teams.
The clearest takeaway from the discussion was the need for CCOs to steer their organizations toward open dialogue about this issue and taking concrete action to address it. We’ll soon be sharing the details of a commitment that the Page Board of Trustees will be asking all Page member organizations to make on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion that can help inform that progress.
To raise the voices of the many members who are speaking out, we are sharing links to some of their posts expressing their feelings on this issue. We welcome you to add yours and/or links to any posts from others that you’d like to share in the comments below.
